My Wii and Mii

Before you play any games on your Wii it's not only advisable but also fun to set up your Mii. This is a unique caricter that you can use when playing on your Wii to monitor your progress and make the games more fun and personal to you.

It's very simple to set up your own Mii. To do so, from the home page, click on the "Mii" menu then start, you will see and area open up with any Mii's already created and 5 options on right and 4 on the left. Select the middle option on the right, "New Mii", select your desired gender then if you would like to start your Mii from scratch or start with a look-a-like to edit. I'd go with from scratch as this is more fun and more personalised. From here you can chose to vary a wide range of features of your Mii including skin colour, hair style, eye colour, mouth and various extras that all in all mean you can make over (and this is my semi-scientific estimate) 542,698,476,908,481,000,000,000,000,000,000 (about 543 nonillion (nonillion being 1030 in short scale for those who like maths) individual Mii's. Now that's a lot!

If you have your Wii connected to the internet then you can chose to let your Mii's roam and visit other Wii consoles whilst you're not using them and in turn have other people Mii's visit you.

FEATURE: Far, Far Too Many 3DS Games

J.P. barely acknowledged the existence of the Wii in 2012, really overcompensated with the 3DS. 2011 was a year like no other that I’ve had when it came to Nintendo. After buying lots of Wii games in the previous couple years, my one and only Wii purchase of 2011 didn’t come until the late November release of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, a game I still have yet to start.
